The format for the Rocket League Tournament for the Summer Splash 2022 is broken into three tournaments; June, July, and August.
The June Tournament will take place the week of June 20th - June 26th
The July Tournament will take place the week of July 18th - July 24th
The August Tournament will take place the week of August 8th - August 13th
2. Format and Schedule
1. Double Elimination Bracket
All teams will be entered into a double elimination bracket for each of the monthly tournaments. Brackets will be made and updated based on the number of entries into each month’s tournament.

3. Default Time and Rescheduling
For each of the rounds, the default time will be 5:00pm each day (PST)
However, if both teams agree, the match date or time can be changed to another time
NOTE: The deadline for submitting scores is everyday at 9:00pm. Please allow ample time for matches to be played and scores to be submitted. We recommend no later than Sunday afternoon when rescheduling a match.
Grand Finals will only be moved with approval of PEL staff as we will broadcast that match.
The Higher Seed Team will make the lobby. A link to the bracket will be announced and shared on discord when it is available.
The host will let the other team know the name and password to the lobby once it is made.
If the match is being streamed, the PEL broadcast team will host the lobby.

Team Size: 3v3
Match Time: 5 Minutes
Bot Difficulty: No Bots
Platform: PC/PS4/PS5/Xbox One/XBox Series X & S/ Nintendo Switch

4. Team Selection
The higher seed will be the blue team.
5. Coach / Spectator Slots
Teams are not allowed to have players in spectating slots unless they are an approved talent program student with their presence being organized beforehand.
4. Match Procedure
1. Tournament Format
Each Rocket League tournament will be a double elimination format bracket with bracket reset.
All matches except for grand finals will be a best of 5.
Grand Finals will be a best of 7.
4. Available Maps
All Games are played on DFH Stadium by default. If both teams agree, teams are free to select another map from the available maps list.

5. Breaks, Pauses, Disconnects
1. Between Map Breaks
Between maps, teams will have 5 minutes of break time available. If both teams agree, the match can continue without the break. Additionally, teams may also extend the break if both teams agree.
If your match is being officially streamed by the Pacific Esports League, the admin / broadcasting team may request more time. Teams will follow the instructions given by the broadcast team.
If a player disconnects, a team may request a game restart as long as a goal has not been scored or 30 seconds have passed in game, whichever comes first.
